Uses fundamental knowledge, under oversight, to conduct complex operations activities with partial analysys and direct impact on final clients. Responsible for executing operational for several businesses or functions in the region. This includes: operational processes & procedures / compliance, customer / client interaction & business partnership, financial products and services and systems & data management
This position is created to be responsible for finance operations for Grain Origination for assigned BUs/Functions in Cargill Business Service, to assist BUs/Functions on daily farmer operations services.

Functions
50% Operational Performance
- With limited oversight, ensure the correct execution of the grain payment process considering and understanding the complexity of the grain settlement process evaluating impacts that other areas generate in the process such as billing and collections, credit, inventory, etc.
- Maintain updated metrics and interpret them to detect problems in the processes.
- Keep the supervisor informed of process deviations for decision making.
- Support the team in technical processing doubts, be a key user of the process.
- Management of different specification of regional grain market (Paraguay-Uruguay-Bolivia), understanding the dynamics and tax and business particularities
- Support the business facing the farmer by adapting to different ways of trade grain in order to help with the objectives defined by the business
- Execute or ensure the execution of the controls required by the process.
- Ensure a fluid and agile contact with our customers, be an external reference for business or functions.
- Collaborate with the supervisor in the planning and organization of resources during the year attending the different harvest peaks
- Interact with multiple ERPs identifying improvements.
- Stabilize processes by implementing systems or tax changes that alter the current process.
- Guarantee the payment circuit of grains in a timely manner according to the negotiated terms.
- Prepare financial reports for comercial teams
- Regularly interprets procedures and applies judgement to accomplish complex tasks related with the grain market
- Recommend solutions to issues that deviate from established process
- Utilizes fundamental knowledge of operational processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure execution of process in compliant manner
- With limited oversight collaborates with operations staffs to provide guidance and training on higth complex processes
- Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of operational standards and regulations to provide specific input and information to Bu/Functional managers, supervisors and staff. Provides input to the potential impact to their business of regulatory developments
10 % - Stakeholder Management
- Work close with commercial team to undesratng market and drive administrative process
- Develops and maintains established relationship with business partners which include but are not limited to brokers, farmers, regulatory bodies, tax, legal, trading and accounting
- Performs customer service duties to support the administration of the process. This may include sending and receiving instructions, answering questions, working with assigned process teams, providing paperwork to stakeholders, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders
20% - People Management
- Responsible for people management including assisting in the development and engagement of team
- Provides coaching to 10-12 people within the Regional PBU teamteam members, including coaching Cargill’s core values.
- Participates in selection of team members, plans for future workforce needs.
- Acts as a first point of contact for employee escalations
- Collaborate with the supervisor in the perfornmance mangemnet evaluation of some members of the team
- Competent in Handling Escalations and ad-hoc requests on a timely manner
20% - Drive Process Improvement Strategy
- Stabilizarion of process recently migrated
- Help on the implementation of a new ERP and participate in the designed of regional tools to standarize the process across Latam
- Applies a comprehensive understanding of operational practices, procedures and internal controls to identify areas of improvement across a BU or function
- Stays abreast of standard industry best practices related to operational capabilities, and provides suggestions to more senior team members and mangers to ensure they are appropriately assimilated into improvement initiatives
- May train teams on process changes and communicating the continuous improvement process to the team
- Implements and provides input to the development of operations policies, procedures and internal controls
- Responsible for understanding and navigating though hight complex information associated with financial products or services which includes but is not limited to transaction specifics data integrity documentation, settlement processes as well as the attributes of relevant market and geography.
- Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency
Qualifications Required Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/ customer operation process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of excel preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details

- Proficiency in English
