**Job Title: Database Admin** **Location: Brussels** **Duration: 5-6 months** **Start date 1/08/2019** **End date 31/01/2020** **Job Context:** The Windows Databases Infrastructure squad is part of IT Middleware Services tribe. The missions of this squad are among other things to maintain our SQL Server environment(about 1000 databases), ensure data integrity and a high level of availability and provide support to developers. BNP Paribas Fortis needs an SQL Server DBA to enforce the team. **Function description:** The job mainly consists of the following elements: Performance and tuning of SQL Server databases. Ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of systems availability. Maintain multiple SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards. Develop scripts, while providing documentation and procedures. Provide support to developers. **Education:** Bachelor/Master in Computer Sciences (or equivalent by experience) Required experience / knowledge: At least 6 years of relevant experience **TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:** **Mandatory:** In depth knowledge of SQL Server databases 2008 and higher Expert in performance and tuning. Team player Customer oriented Communicative (with team members and with other colleagues, our clients & other partners). Knowledge in SSIS, SSRS Experience with High Availability solution Experience in T-SQL **Preferable:** Be able to work in Agile Way Of Working **BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:** **Mandatory:** Experience with working in a complex organization. **preferable:** Experience in the banking sector. **Language requirements:** English - Fluent Dutch- Fluent French - Fluent

- De configuratie en architectuur van de informatiesystemen opvolgen en bijwerken naargelang de ontwikkelingen
- De technische, economische, … informatie en de reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
- Toekennen en ter beschikking stellen van software en netwerkinfrastructuur (toewijzing, nieuwe toewijzing)
- Scripts opstellen of integreren
- Ontwikkelingsteams, informaticaproductieteams of gebruikers adviseren en bijstaan bij de keuze en toepassing van technische oplossingen
